What A Difference A Day Makes

October 3, 2015, Powerline is reporting that Congress, with the support of President Plausible is considering revamping US Code 924c which calls for mandatory sentencing for carrying weapons during a drug related felony. A feature of the current law is that the gun charge is stacked on top of the drug sentence.  It is geared towards individuals already engaged in a felony. The link:   http://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2015/10/bipartisan-sentencing-reform-proposal-would-free-gun-carrying-felons.php .The proposed legislation would reduce sentences and release prisoners already incarcerated.

On October 1, 2015, in a nationwide address, President Plausible decried the number of guns in America and called for stronger “gun safety regulations.”

Meanwhile the press is presiding over the debate of just what the political stance of shooter was.  It doesn’t matter, he is dead.  Let’s concentrate on the lies and inconsistencies in the stance expressed by President Plausible.  At this point those two are headed for a tie, when it comes to specious half baked theories.
