If you have read my blog, then you know I often find a link that amuses me. I use that link as a starting point and then it’s off to the snark races I go. I found this on Power Line. I read it once, then twice and concluded there was no way I could do this bullshit justice. The author of this paper posits that name given to a dog will have an effect on the adoptability of that dog, once it winds up in a shelter. Remember, figures lie and liars figure.

I knew a police K-9 whose career was ruined due to his name. Jack was a patrol dog. That means that he was trained to apprehend suspects (bite). A typical command to a patrol dog to stop biting was, “OFF”. In Jack’s case, this became “JACK OFF!” Sensitive souls decided that was inappropriate.
