My sympathy goes to the mutt! A drunk in Colorado got pulled over by the police. He was not a criminal mastermind. In an effort to avoid a DWI he switched places and put his dog behind the wheel. He tried to claim that the dog was driving. Imagine his surprise when the cops were not fooled. That is just half the story.
Consider the disappointment of the dog. Every dog that I have ever had loved riding in the car. Given half a chance they would be perched behind the steering wheel. They all seemed to think that they could drive. All they needed was a chance. In this case, the doggy dream came true, only to be quashed by the cops moments later.
