Law, Morality and Politics

BJ Bill Clinton, Serial Rapist

EPSTEIN DIDN’T KILL HIMSELF! I don’t really give a shit, but I’m happy with the result. For the record I think he did kill himself. I’m not sure his suicide was the result of an original idea. I think he was strongly encouraged, schooled in a variety of possible techniques and the recipient of ideal circumstances so that he would be undisturbed as he carried out his ultimate act of self-abuse.

Epstein is timely because of the story detailing the release of his private calendar. It’s a who’s who of liberals, democrats and other hangers on. I’m reminded of an old English saying: “Birds of a feather, flock together.” Updated for the new millennium it might better read as: Scumbags hang together.”

The story and controversy surrounding it underline a common misconception between law and morality. I would add a third element politics. Most people equate morality and law (legal vs illegal) as one in the same. They would be wrong. The ultimate codification of morality would be the Ten Commandments.

Law, on the other hand, addresses issues not contemplated in the bible. The Ten Commandments are silent when it comes to obeying the speed limit or governing one’s use of pronouns.

Then there is politics. Apparently moral and government codes take on a different character once something is labeled as “politics.” Once designated in such a manner the restriction or obligation can achieve a new status beyond normal understanding.

I’m just a broke down retired narc, what do I know? How can I argue with the great Noam Chomsky?

“What was known about Jeffrey Epstein was that he had been convicted of a crime and had served his sentence,” Chomsky told the Journal about his meetings. “According to U.S. laws and norms, that yields a clean slate.”

Noam Chomsky

I was a cop for thirty years. I was assigned to a narcotics task force for fifteen of those years. I rubbed shoulders with dope dealers, whores, thieves and murderers. Undercover, I may have even bought them a beer and laughed at their jokes. It was a job that I was paid to do. Once I retired, I also stopped hanging out with crooks. I also stopped associating with democrats and liberals. Scumbags come in many guises.

Call me a Victorian in attitude. Read any novel written during that period. The overwhelming concern seemed to be, “what would society think?” Violate expected modes of conduct and banishment from society followed.

The previous District Attorney for Bexar County was a convicted dope dealer, in other words a felon. He had his conviction expunged. This enabled him to obtain a law license and run for office. His supporters could claim he was not a convicted felon. That doesn’t negate the fact that he was a fucking drug dealer. The act remains, even if the sanction has been removed.

Jeffrey Epstein is, was and always will be a SCUMBAG, dead or alive. Anybody that finds value or comfort in a relationship with him shares the title.

It’s simple don’t hang around with scumbags or tolerate those that do.

Democrats just don’t get it. Anthony, (the serial flasher and sex offender) Weiner is being urged to run for Mayor of New York City. How bankrupt are the democrats, that Weiner is the best they can do?
