New York University had a speaker run off the stage at an event the other night. The NYPD had to intervene in what turned into a mini-riot. Caught on video was a person identified an NYU professor. She has been identified, she is a professor* just not at NYU. She has been known to do obscene things to lobsters. The video shows her demanding that NYPD protects the rioting students and take over the role of oppressing the right-wing counter-demonstrators. This is not the first time this has happened, the Mayor of San Jose made such the same demand of Donald Trump the candidate. How dare he campaign in San Jose where such antics might upset the democratic electorate. It seems no matter what, eventually the true fascist, totalitarian, narrowly focused view will reveal itself. Labels don’t do any good, it is important to look at behavior. In 1965 the power structure cheered when Bull Conner, the Sheriff’s Office, and the State Police turned fire hoses, riot sticks and German Shepards on peaceful protesters. Twenty-five years later the Mayor of San Jose withheld police protection because the demonstrators under attack were not his kind of demonstrators. In New York Police are condemned for not violating Civil Rights, because only liberals can protest.

UPDATE 02/05/2017: Via Powerline: She allegedly is a professor, just not at NYU. Included in the article is a transcript of her tirade and video. Her logic seems to be that the police have a duty to beat up people she doesn’t like for expressing views she doesn’t agree with by not jumping to her command the NYPD shirked their responsibility.
