Harvard Student Faces Eviction After Roommates Saw MAGA Hat, Ransacked Her Room for (Legal) Guns

I have to admit I blow hot and cold on this story. It is obvious that the roommates and landlord are a bunch of shit heads. On the other hand Ms. Pirnie chose to go to Harvard and reside in Massachusetts. What did she expect? You can’t wallow in a cesspool without getting the stink on you.

I get it, she had an expectation of privacy and that privacy was violated. She has done nothing wrong, yet she is being ostracized. Let me put events into context.

It is perfectly acceptable to enjoy motorcycles and associate with people who share her passion. That does not mean it is a good idea to accept an invitation to ride with the Banditos on a weekend run. She may make it back in the same condition as when she left. But then again, why take the chance?

She could take the fight to this group. But it doesn’t get her anything. The main thing is to get the degree and get away from that east coast shithole.

A local landlord in Massachusetts is trying to boot a female Harvard graduate student from her apartment because of her legally owned guns.

Pirnie said that her roommates went through all of her possessions attempting to uncover her guns.

Pirnie went on to say that she never told her roommates that she had guns. She explained that her roommates simply assumed that she had guns because of her support for President Trump.

When I asked them why they were in my room to begin with, they each came up with completely contradicting stories (none of which made any sense), but one comment struck me in particular: ‘We saw that you had a MAGA hat and come on, you’re from Alabama… so we just kind of assumed that you had something,’” she said. “I asked why they didn’t just call me and ask me before intruding. One of the girls responded that fear took over her body and she felt compelled to search my room until she found proof… I cannot make this up.

I get it, there is a principle involved. At the same time, she is surrounded by scumbags. Why stay? This is akin to the gay blades demanding that an unwilling baker make them a cake. Who in their right mind would want to eat a cake made under duress?

I suspect that with the publicity, her negotiation stance with her former landlord has improved. I would be willing to bet that her options for a new residence have increased substantially. Scumbags gotta be scumbags, it’s time to move on.
