A death row inmate in Ohio has died of the Chinese flu. Even worst is that the state tried to execute him and failed. He went through agony. He got stuck eighteen times with an IV needle. The horror! Compare that with what his fourteen year old victim of a rape murder went through.

A combination of long term drug abuse and old age has shown to be a deterrent of lethal injection. In several instances technicians have been unable to access a suitable vein. Never heard of a bullet having that problem.
