Balls!

Republican Caucus gathers to conduct an inventory, after due consideration they conclude there isn’t a pair of balls among them.

I have about had it with Republicans. Don’t misunderstand me, everything Democrats believe is wrong. It is just that Republicans if they have any convictions, don’t have the courage to state and stand by them.

The Democrats have devoted the last three months to manufacturing an obstruction of justice case against Donald Trump. Here is a story you won’t hear, during an open hearing, with a written record and a room full of witnesses Debbie Wasserman-Schultz threatened the Chief of the U.S. Capitol Police with “consequences.” This was during a hearing discussing police budget issues. I hear crickets, but no call for a special prosecutor.

They got a Special Prosecutor appointed based on excerpts from a diary that nobody has seen.  In it, former FBI Director Comey supposedly complains that the President talked mean to him. His version is at odds with the President’s and if there are other witnesses, they have not come forward to forward to support Comey. Never mind that Comey had a positive obligation to report an improper illegal attempt to influence him. Things get said sometimes that can be taken any number of ways, how the recipient reacts right then and there is the measure of the seriousness of the offer. Comey ran to his diary but took no other action, until after he got fired. His outcry, at that late date, is akin to a prostitute claiming she was raped because the check bounced.

Three Pakistani brothers did work for a group of Democrats, including Debbie Wasserman Schultz. The three were doing IT work and billing at a rate four times the norm. Their position gave them the passwords and unlimited access to all aspects of the member congresscritters computers and files. They were also carrying off office supplies, computers, components and other items of value to make ends meet. The U.S. Capitol Police and other law enforcement agencies investigated the thefts but only moved on the trio after Obama left office. The Pakis were banned from Congressional computer systems. The congresscritters who employed the Pakis, not to be deterred reemployed them as independent consultants. The victims (congresscritters) are not cooperating in the investigation.  House-it-aides-fear-suspects-in-hill-breach-are-blackmailing-members-with-their-own-data/

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz threatened the chief of the U.S. Capitol Police with “consequences” for holding equipment that she says belongs to her in order to build a criminal case against a Pakistani staffer suspected of massive cybersecurity breaches involving funneling sensitive congressional data offsite.

The Florida lawmaker used her position on the committee that sets the police force’s budget to press its chief to relinquish the piece of evidence Thursday, in what could be considered using her authority to attempt to interfere with a criminal investigation.

The Capitol Police and outside agencies are pursuing Imran Awan, who has run technology for the Florida lawmaker since 2005 and was banned from the House network in February on suspicion of data breaches and theft.

“My understanding is the the Capitol Police is not able to confiscate Members’ equipment when the Member is not under investigation,” Wasserman Schultz said in the annual police budget hearing of the House Committee On Appropriations’ Legislative Branch Subcommittee.

“We can’t return the equipment,” Police Chief Matthew R. Verderosa told the Florida Democrat.

“I think you’re violating the rules when you conduct your business that way and you should expect that there will be consequences,” Wasserman Schultz said.

The investigation is examining members’ data leaving the network and how Awan managed to get Members to place three relatives and a friend into largely no-show positions on their payrolls, billing $4 million since 2010. (RELATED: Suspects Could Read Every Email Congressmen Sent And Received)

The congresswoman characterizes the evidence as “belonging” to her and argues that therefore it cannot be seized unless Capitol Police tell her that she personally, as opposed to her staffer, is a target of the investigation.

Let’s put her claim into common everyday experience. A thief steals your laptop computer. Using a GPS locator feature they are able to track the computer and recover it from a known child pornographer. During the arrest, the police observe images on the computer that appear to be kiddie porn. It’s your computer, given the circumstances of the seizure you are not a suspect. Do you think for one moment, you are going to get the computer back because you ask for it? The police are going to analyze the contents of the computer, they will isolate the kiddie porn and remove the offending files. It could take days, weeks or months, bitch all you want you are not getting the computer back, it is evidence. Technically, in Texas, it is up to a magistrate to release anything that comes into police custody. This arrangement protects both sides the owner and the cops.

The bottom line is all sorts of things come into police custody where the rightful owner is not a suspect, but the property is still held until it is no longer needed as evidence.

That leaves Debbie Wasserman-Schultz as the last person standing. PERP WALK THE BITCH, for Obstruction of Justice.
