White Supremacy, Once Removed

It wasn’t my fault!

Something you won’t see in the MSM is the tale of Sheldon Whitehouse. Whitehouse is the Senator from Rhode Island. He is a liberal democrat. Howie Carr draws obvious parallels between Whitehouse and John Kerry. Whitehouse belongs to not one, but two exclusive white’s only clubs. But, but, but… it’s not his fault. John Belushi, gone to soon.

From Howie Carr:

Whitehouse is the senator from the Ida Lewis Yacht Club and the Spouting Rock Beach Association in Newport.

He’s been in the news this week after it was revealed (again) that his two go-to places to sneer at the hoi polloi are a lot less diverse than either the Proud Boys or the Oath Keepers, among many other groups.

Sen. Whitehouse was leaving one of his melanin-challenged clubs last weekend when he was approached by a reporter who asked him why, given his preening wokeness in all matters, he was hanging out at what amounts to a shorefront klavern.

But Sheldon has an explanation:

(Then Little Boy Blue harrumphed that what these clubs used to call “gentlemen’s agreements” were really none of his concern because) “I have no membership to resign, nor will I ask my wife or any other family members to do so.”

This explanation has a familiar ring to it. Recall the good old days when gigolo’s John Kerry was called out by critics for his conspicuous consumption. It seems each of his mansions, (five in all) each had a gas guzzling SUV.

I don’t own those SUV’s, they’re owned by my second wife’s first husband’s trust fund.

John Kerry

So the explanation is simple. Sheldon Whitehouse is not part of the whole white privilege thing. His wife, on the other hand…. This too, shall pass.
