I didn’t sleep worth a shit the other night. Got up at 2 A.M. to put a beef shoulder clod on the pit. Ever since I tried to burn the house down, I don’t have a pit. Went back to bed.

Got up at 4 A.M. to check the progress of the cook.

I think I’m having barbeque withdrawal.
