I remember Magnum PI. I watched it all the time. Part of the reason was the interaction of the characters. In the original series there was the tension between Magnum, a Viet Nam veteran and Higgins the major domo in charge of the estate of Robin Masters. In 2018 the series was revived with a new cast of characters.

In the new variation, the tension between Magnum and Higgins revolves around the age-old question. Will Magnum throw the old moccasin head at Higgins? Call me locked in the past. Say it three times fast, Magnum and Higgins and sexual tension. Chances of me watching the new version of Magnum PI, slim and none. It just ain’t the same.
