The New Year has not been kind to Rock & Roll and especially hard on those musicians associated with the San Francisco Sound.  Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks may not be as well known as the Greatful Dead, Santana, Jefferson Airplane and Quicksilver Messenger Service but they were all there in the summer of 1967.

Dan Hicks died on February 6, 2016.  Anyway a favorite of mine:
