I started with another picture in mind but then found this. The myth is that English Police are unarmed. This may apply to the Bobby standing on the street corner. But more and more the officers in patrol cars and select units in each station are “Armed Response Officers”. It appears to me she’d rather be working than playing tailor’s dummy.
