Daddy is upset because SAPD officers shot the dog shit out of his son, after he pointed a pistol at them. Officers tried to arrest him on an outstanding warrant for Aggravated Robbery. He ran. They chased. During the case the soon to be dearly departed pulled a pistol and pointed at them. Then it got loud. Junior didn’t survive the encounter.
Daddy claims that the officers are incompetent. How? All apparently hit their target. There is nothing wrong with their shooting skills. Daddy says that they should have deescalated the situation. The shooting took place in September 2024.
Since that time Junior has not committed any more armed robberies. Mama and daddy know exactly where junior is and what he is doing. They know that there will be no more late night, collect, phone calls from Bexar County jail from Junior demanding that the family bring lawyers and bail money to him. Sounds like a successful de-escalation to me.
The bottom line is that when Junior pointed a gun at SAPD officers, they de-escalated the situation. Junior assumed room temperature. Although nothing has been said, I would point out that SAPD also cured any mental health, substance abuse, or emotion issues that Junior may have had. One encounter lasting just moments and done! Let’s see a mental health professional duplicate those results.
Be careful what you wish for. Daddy wanted de-escalation. He got it. Now he is still bitching. Daddy, you want it your way, try this:
