Musta Been a Democrat….

Nothing supports the assertion that the MSM is incompetent like the following story. How bad is it? Let me count the ways.

According to the headline a man was fatally shot in the head. That seems pretty definite. Apparently, the headline writer and the reporter are not on the same page. Check this quote out.

Jeremy Ketcham was fatally shot in the head on Nov. 25 in the 6000 block of Bear Branch Drive, not far from Loop 410 and Sinclair Road, authorities said. The manner of death is pending.

Huh? He was fatally shot in the head, but the manner of death is pending.

The dead guy lost an argument, retrieved a gun and started shooting. When the shooting stopped, he was dead. Did he shoot himself? Did a good guy with a gun show up? Was there a struggle for the gun? Inquiring minds want to know. I guess the writer could have said the circumstances surrounding the shooting are still being investigated.

I’ve seen it before. About forty years ago I was at the scene of a fatal accident. A biker fell off his scooter for no apparent reason. He was laying on IH 35 just below the crest of a hill. If the fall didn’t kill him, the next two tractor trailers along did. By the time I got there, bits and pieces of him occupied both lanes of traffic. EMS arrived and didn’t even bother to unass the ambulance.

We waited for the local Justice of the Peace to do his thing. The JP on call was a blithering idiot who owed his high office to the local democrat machine. I have seen JP’s do the coroner bit from fifty yards away. One JP I knew pronounced a sleeping two-year-old. In his defense, the family was crying and wailing and having a great time in the other room. It was an easy mistake to make; nobody could sleep through that din. Except maybe a two-year-old.

Back to the car accident. We caught the judge trying to take a pulse from the dead biker. The problem being that the biker’s brain was located about ten feet from his body. Somebody pointed that fact out to the Judge. He left the scene amid peals of laughter. He got the last laugh. He wouldn’t authorize a blood test or autopsy. If somebody argued that the biker was shot off his bike, I couldn’t disagree. Maybe.
