My old partner asked me to go with him to round up some cattle. I know my way around steak, but not when it is on the hoof. But is sounded like a good reason to get together.

The object of the exercise was to move a mama cow, calf and a yearling bull from a ranch in Hays County to his place in Kendall County.

The whole exercise went off without a hitch. I guess I just don’t understand cattle raising. He said he was going to breed the mama cow. I guess it has been done. It seems to me it probably is more effective to use a bull.
