Retirement

The problem with retirement is finding something to do with all of your extra time. One moment you are busy and the next you have forty hours with nothing to do. The problem is exasperated when the new retiree was used to a high speed, low drag type of lifestyle. How to fill those extra hours?

How do you keep them down on the farm, once they’ve been to the big city?

Typical retirement jobs just don’t seem to make it.

I don’t think I can live up to the ideal.
This I can do.
This job interests me, but I probably wouldn’t fit in.

There are hobby or recreational options.

Scuba Diving in Jacob’s Well is no longer an option. With old age my balls of shrunk.
Photo bombing is an attractive activity, but I don’t have a beach.

I guess I could try this guy’s way of passing the time. He spread peanut butter all over himself and then went to the local dog park.

With my luck, one of the dogs would have a peanut allergy and I’d get sued. Could be worse…

Something will turn up.
