I miss Norman Rockwell.
Norman Rockwell print Current day coffee guzzling, donut snatching Massachusetts State Police
Norman Rockwell was an illustrator who probably did more covers for “The Saturday Evening Post” than anybody else. “The Saturday Evening Post” was a magazine that had its heyday in the 20th century. The picture on the left is an example of his work. The iconic image is that of a Massachusetts State Police Trooper seated at a lunch counter with a boy. The picture on the right depicts current day “Staties”. They suffer in the comparison.
