There are small fish in a big pond and big fish in a small pond.  But did I ever tell you about the activists in a pisshole?

You know their names, Sharpton, Jackson and a new generation McCarrel.  Then there are their white brethren Kerry, Hoffman, and Ayres and They all share common traits, part shakedown artist, part pimp, and self promoters above all else.  Listen closely to the message they spout, “Me, look at me, me”

You can be sure when they show up to support a cause they give it 100%.  That’s because the cause they support is themselves and the controversy is nothing more than the stage they must occupy to gather greater glory to themselves.

It takes a good line of bull, a thick skin and endurance to keep on the move before the rubes get wise to the game.  The occasional outrageous act has a proven value in keeping one’s name in the headlines.  Unfortunately, Mr. McCarrel seems have an imperfect grasp of the concept of an outrageous act.  For future community organizers aim low, shoot a foot, maybe a knee. As Mr. McCarrel has found there is no pay off when you shoot yourself in the head.
