Nomination For A Hero Badge

One thing about cops. Call them and they will come. When I first started as a cop, every response to a call required a report. However not every response required required an investigation. It wasn’t unusual for dispatch to put out a call for, “unknown trouble,” “suspicious person, (vehicle)” or the ever popular “disturbance”. This usually meant that the dispatcher couldn’t categorize the complaint. Police departments measured their productivity by the number of calls answered not the issues addressed. Quantity over quality.

A Blogger pointed out that AOC, (pictured), is a blithering idiot.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Nice Tits! (I always try to say something positive about AOC).

This occurred during a Twitter exchange. A third party decided that his comments constituted a threat and copied the Tweet to the Capitol Police. Here is what they had to say:

“Obviously as you can imagine, anytime there’s anything that could be a perceived threat, we’re going to talk to everybody involved, whether they’re directly involved or indirectly involved,” the official said.

Capitol Police

The Capitol Police requested the assistance of the California Highway Patrol. I guess because the supposed offender was in California.

I maintain that agencies like the Capitol Police are Police in name only. Competence and performance wise, there isn’t much difference between the Capitol Police and the average private security guard company. This incident demonstrates the point.

Real cops know that “perceived threat” is not the same as a real threat. Calling a Congress critter an idiot demonstrates not threatening behavior, but in the case of AOC, a keen judgment of her intellect. If the initial complaint doesn’t constitute an offense, then the police response is simple. Real police would have let the matter drop, but not the Capitol Police. Not all whores wear high heels.

I worked patrol in a wealthy bedroom community surrounded by San Antonio. In that community, a black or Mexican walking down the street, and not equipped with a rake or lawnmower was deemed suspicious by the wealthy liberals. It was possible to track the path taken by these suspicious individuals by the volume of calls generated. My usual response was to contact the “suspicious person,” and inform him that he was surrounded by bigots who regarded his presence as a blight of the community. The bigots were satisfied. They were convinced that I had put the fear of God in the offender. The offender was amazed that I hadn’t beat him about the head and shoulders.

This community was surrounded by San Antonio. Street whores would work lower Broadway Street but would stay in fleabag motels located on Austin Highway. This required a commute through my little slice of heaven. Included in the contingent of whores were several transvestites. I first saw Brian wobbling down the street. He was notable at 6’5″, and about 280 pounds. He wore mini skirts that showed off his thunderous, pasty white thighs. He wore size 12 high heels. He had trouble walking in them. Brian was in the street, where a sidewalk was provided. This is a violation of the traffic code. One thing about streetwalkers. It doesn’t matter how nice the sidewalks are, you can’t keep a whore out of the street.

The traffic violation was the excuse, curiosity was the reason for the stop. I thought to myself, ‘that chick has got to have a big pair of balls to wear that outfit.’ I found out that my instincts were correct, once I began talking to Brian. Brian wasn’t actively working as he transited the burg, but he was always alert to possibilities. Twice a day, five days a week, less time in county jail, Brian made the trek. Nobody in the “City of Beauty and Charm,” ever reported him as a “suspicious person.”

Thirty years of policing and I have responded to numerous calls from the public that I was able to dismiss outright. Calls such as, suspicious person, a CPS electric utility lineman on top of a pole. Suspicious vehicles, CPS trucks, fire trucks, ambulance and police cars. Suspicious vehicles galore no description, no direction of travel, no timeframe. I have been called to give a sixteen year old a spanking because she disobeyed her parents. I guess these days all of these incidents would require a follow up investigation. Nobody is willing to take responsibility for their decisions why should the cops be any different?

At the risk of being investigated, I still think AOC is an idiot and the Capitol Police are incompetents.
