Another kid got shot by police while wielding a toy gun.  The big question is why?  Why would a kid run when confronted by police?  Why not stop and put the gun down? Baltimore, kid shot with toy gun describes the incident.

The only thing I can come up with is that in the inner city there are people to poor to have bank accounts. They don’t have access to investment vehicles that pay dividends.  A bank card is less that useless. What they do have is plenty of kids and toy guns. One possibility:

“Junior get in here, your daddy got drunk and totaled the car, we need a new car and bail money for your daddy.  Take this replica Glock and go play.  Don’t take no crap from anybody and what ever you do Do not drop that gun”
