Does Workman’s Comp Apply?

Kenosha, peaceful protester

Two shit heads were killed in Kenosha. Is this considered a work place accident? Who investigates OSHA or the cops? Can the city be sued because it failed to inform rioters that such activity could hazardous to one’s health?

KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) — Two people were shot to death during another night of Black Lives Matter protests in Kenosha in a possible vigilante attack carried out by a young white man who was caught on cellphone video opening fire in the middle of the street with a semi-automatic rifle.

Here is a second article with accompanying video. The moral of the story is don’t bring a knife to a gun fight and never try to take somebody’s gun. The owner may give it to you piece meal. Something tells me that the injured idiot’s tattoo is never gonna be the same.

I suspect that the shooter’s claim for self defense will travel along these lines. Chased down the street by a howling mob. I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure they weren’t chanting: “Sugar and Spice and everything nice!” Then some of the mob tries to disarm him. The protesters may not have been armed, at that moment. However, they were attempting to remedy that situation by taking the gun. Obviously the display of a weapon was not sufficient to stop the assault. Assaulted from multiple directions and having thugs try to take his weapon the gunman will claim that he was in fear for his life.

He shouldn’t be allowed to get away with this. I say charge him with discharging a weapon within city limits and be done with it.

A peaceful protest stops being peaceful when bricks and bottles start to fly. It stops being peaceful or a protest when Molotov cocktails sail through the air. Once that stuff starts one’s status turns from protester to co-conspirator. When one in the crowd starts using deadly force, Molotov cocktails, bricks, IED’s then everybody else involves shares responsibility.

This isn’t collective guilt. People have the ability to choose. They can remove themselves from the scene when things turn ugly. To stay is an acceptance of the violence and tactics. It was all fun and games until the other side started playing by the same rules.

It isn’t any surprise that the dearly departed have a history of arrests and convictions for assault, domestic violence and wait or it sexual assault! The BLM perverts on parade saga continues.

If one should catch a stray round, tough shit!

Kindred souls.
