Barry Diller believes his opinion matters and his word means something.  He is threatening to leave the USA if Donald Trump is elected President or barring that join the resistance against a Trump Presidency.  In other words, he is not going anywhere. 

Barry Diller says he will leave the county or join the resistance. He isn’t going anywhere.  The second half of his statement cancels out the first.  This is the first time I’ve heard sucking down 25 year old Scotch, while doing the caviar circuit, resistance. 

Signing the Declaration of Independence, fighting German occupation in France or establishing the new state of Israel, that’s resistance.  Moping on the cocktail circuit, badmouthing the opposition because they won, and calling it resistance that’s the mark of an old man with nothing to say searching for an audience.
