I guess it is to much to expect consistency on the part of liberals. Massachusetts, home to Massholes, are considering banning balloons. I’m gonna take a wild assed guess and say it is, “for the wildlife,” you know. Meanwhile, on the other side of town, Planned Parenthood is giving away condoms to all and sundry.
State lawmakers are considering a bill to ban the sale and use of all balloons in Massachusetts.
“The sale, distribution and release of any type of balloon, including, but not limited to, plastic, latex or mylar, filled with any type of lighter than air gas, both for public or private use, is hereby prohibited,” the bill sponsored by Rep. Sarah Peake, D-Provincetown, states. Violators would be fined up to $100.

Planned Parenthood of Massachusetts is giving away free condoms.
I guess, it is just me. Has anybody considered the intersection that will occur with the passage of the bill and continuation the condom giveaway? Balloons will be banned. Kids will no longer be able to experience the joys a balloon can bring. At least not with a balloon.

All is not lost. Kids can be highly adaptive. A trip to the local Planned Parenthood and well… A condom holds air, it inflates, it bounces, it’s even better than a balloon because it is so big.
Course the whole purpose of the ban is to save the wildlife. Balloons are carelessly discarded and pose a threat to wildlife.
It’s a good thing that wildlife are able to differentiate between balloons and condoms. Discarded condoms apparently pose no threat to wildlife.
Don’t let the fact that condom wrappers advise their purpose is the “prevention of disease.”
Being a liberal is holding to mutually exclusive ideas and never seeing the conflict.
