It All Depends…

A hacker group from Eastern Europe has conducted a ransomware attack against Colonial Pipeline. This resulted in the pipeline being shut down. Following the South Dakota pipeline train of thought, PIPELINE BAD, this must be good. Except the Colonial Pipeline supplies gas to eastern liberals, PIPELINE GOOD! Shut down bad! The New York Slimes (all the news print to fit) claims that there are no long gas lines. I guess it all depends on the definition of long.

How long does a line have to be to meet the New York Times definition of long?

To me, gas starved Easy Coast denizens falls in the same category as Minneapolis burning, ho hum. One good thing about the Colonial pipe line shutdown. When the riots begin, rioters won’t be using gasoline to commit arson. Not everybody in the North East will be affected.

Gas Shortage? What’s that?

One thing that I do is to find two seeming unrelated stories and demonstrate that they are related. Extra points when liberals argue take a stance in one instance and the opposing stance in another story. The pipe line shut down is a double bagger. Pipe lines are bad except when pipe lines deliver something that liberals want. This dovetails nicely with this story.

Dams, mining projects, road building, (fill in the blank) is bad because it effects the blind salamander, wild rice, the snail darter or (fill in the blank). Open pit strip mining for lithium is good because it allows liberals to virtue signal with their electric cars. The fact that the strip mine will lead to the extinction of a plant species, Tiehm’s buckwheat is…. LOOK SQUIRREL, of no consequence.

Oh well, Mark Twain said it best over a hundred years ago:
