Cause and Effect or Symptom?

The Navy just released a report blaming all sorts of Admirals for the loss of the Bonhomme Richard. Unlike other Navy ships lost due to combat, the Bonhomme Richard was tied up at the pier. Not to worry, out with the old Admirals in with the New… The United States Public Health Service just swore in a new Admiral, Rachel Levine. He used to be an ugly man who decided to become an ugly woman. This he/she is now masquerading as a woman and is described as the first transsexual Admiral.

Admiral Rachel Levine, who serves as the HHS Assistant Secretary for Health and head of the U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS) Commissioned Corps, was ceremonially sworn in as a four-star admiral.

I’m not claiming that there is a cause and effect at work here. Best I can tell they don’t let USPHS Admirals near any ships. I suspect that the various branches of the military drew straws and the Navy lost. From that point forward the Surgeon General and his ilk donned Navy costumes.

Somebody needs to tell the democrats that the Pirates of Penzance is a parody, not a blueprint.
