I saw this thought and set out to disprove it. I found an example of a woman in a paint spattered coat. However, I was unable to duplicate the result when it came to bikers. I viewed a bunch of biker photos and couldn’t find a single instance where PETA types opposed the bikers wearing leathers.

People are more violently opposed to fur than leather because it’s safer to harass rich women than motorcycle gangs.
