There is an upside to the New York City Ordinance requiring people to use the correct gender speak or face massive fines. The gender identity and is determined by the individual. It is entirely their choice with no supporting documentation or diagnosis required. I feel therefore I am. There is nothing that says a person has to pick one and stick with it. After all if the transgendered person had done that we wouldn’t be in this position. The law anticipates people changing their mind. That being the case, here is a handy guide.
