Some Supreme Court decisions can be scored in much the same manner as a gymnastics competition. Dred Scott is one example. There has never been a gymnast that could duplicate the twists and turns that these geriatric judges accomplish. The latest example is Justice Sotomayor. She took issue with the assertion that a fetus reaction to stimuli is an indication that it can feel pain.

Part of the joy of being a liberal is the ability to hold two diametrically opposing views and seeing no conflict. It is not cruel to slice and dice a fetus in the womb. At the same time, liberals hold the view that the traditional method of boiling lobsters in barbaric.

I guess I hold a minority view. Ban abortion, encourage blow jobs. Problem solved. Makes as much sense as Sotomayor’s stance.
