Nothing in My Waistband, Oops

Doctors keep telling me being overweight can adversely affect my health. The following video made me a believer. The portly crook lifted up his sweatshirt to show he was unarmed. But his belly hanging over his belt prevented him from seeing the pistol in his belt. The officers told him to keep his hands away from the gun but did not draw down on him. I don’t know what Utah law is, but I thought it was a restrained reaction. The crook broke and ran and the chase was on for about ten feet. You can hear the officers telling him not to go for the gun. You hear one shot pause and then a barrage. The crook was DRT. Utah video-released-confrontation-police-led

According to newscasters, the crook was hit sixteen times with police bullets and once by a bullet from his own gun. My suspicion is that the crook went for his gun and that one of the officers grabbed it and during the struggle it discharged, luckily it hit the crook. The backup officer then fired and he kept firing until the threat was neutralized. Sixteen sounds like a lot, put a stopwatch on the time it took, two seconds, three? The time it takes for a standing dead guy to untangle from a police officer and fall down?

Want sympathy; it’s in the dictionary between shit and syphilis.
