Just Because You Can… Doesn’t Mean That You Should

The MSM is still beating the drum regarding the murder of four college students in Idaho. What drives the media? Sympathy? Outrage? The quest for justice? Go back to basics. The prime motivation behind MSM is one thing. To sell tampons and toilet paper. With that perspective, in mind, the interest of the MSM make sense.

Law enforcement (big tent to include anybody who has come within shouting distance of a police station) would do well to remember this. Here is a quote from the county coroner. For those that don’t know, in this instance, the coroner is not forensic pathologist, nor a trained law enforcement investigator. It is an elected position. The only qualification required is the price of the filing fee to run for office. In Latah County the position is filled by a registered nurse turned attorney. This is likely a step up from other coroners of my acquaintance, carpenter, short order cook or incredibly stupid former sheriff’s deputy.
(Called Justice of the Peace, in Texas).

At any rate, the Latah County coroner wins the prize for stupid comment of the week.

It had to be a really big knife to inflict those injuries and kill four people,” she said.

Cathy Mabbutt, Latah County, Idaho, Coroner

Cathy Mabbutt meet Abe Reles. Abe was a hit man for Murder Inc. He may have killed up to 70 people at the behest of New York organized crime families. His weapon of choice? An icepick.

Abe Reles was a violent and unpredictable man and also a member of Murder, Inc. Reles was known for using an ice pick on his victims, possibly as many as 70.

It is likely that folks these days are unfamiliar with an ice pick. Here is a photo of one, along with a photo of a really big knife.

Anybody confronted by the MSM would do well to remember an observation made years ago.

It is better to remain silent at the risk of being thought a fool, than to talk and remove all doubt of it.”

It’s not the size of the tool but how it is used.
