Fun With Words

Ignorance is bliss. Homicide is the killing of one person by another. Some homicides are murder, but not all. Some homicides are mandated by society like an execution. Other homicides are justified by the circumstances surrounding the event, such as war and defense of self or another. This story just reinforces that rhetoric doesn’t have to be based on reality.

Protesters Taunt Cops With A Dead Pig Head On A Pike In Brooklyn Center

Black Lives Matter protesters brandishing a pigs head on a stake violently clashed with Minnesota cops on a fourth night of chaos Wednesday following the police shooting of a black man there days earlier.

One anonymous demonstrator said former officer Kim Potter ‘committed an act of war’ when she shot dead Daunte Wright in Brooklyn Center on Sunday.

Police had on Wednesday declared a protest in the city unlawful well before the 10 pm curfew following clashes

This clown’s assertion brought to mind this exchange from the war movie, “Big Red One”

“- Pvt. Griff – 1st Squad: I can’t murder anybody.
– The Sergeant: We don’t murder; we kill.
– Pvt. Griff – 1st Squad: It’s the same thing.
– The Sergeant: The hell it is, Griff. You don’t murder animals; you kill them.”
Exchange between The Sergeant and a soldier, “The Big Red One” MARK HAMILL – Pvt. Griff – 1st Squad LEE MARVIN – The Sergeant

If this exchange sparks your interest in the movie get the the “recreation” version. The original release was cut up by the studio. I guess this would be the director’s cut, but for the fact that Samuel L Fuller had died three years previously.
