I have made fun of AOC, in the past. I have intimated that she is nothing more than a support system for a great rack. Then she arrives at the solution to the ever rising crime rate. She has solved the problem, thus proving that she is one of the great liberal intellects of our time! The answer was there all the time, but it took AOC to point it out.
“It is not acceptable for us to use jails as garbage bins for human beings. We need to treat people and see them as human,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “If we want to reduce violent crime, reduce the number of people in our jails, the answer is to stop building more of them.”

Using her thoughts as a guide, we can lower, even make the crime rate disappear. All we have to do is stop arresting, prosecuting and incarcerating felons, miscreants and ne’er do wells. This falls in the same category of that great philosophical mystery. “If a tree falls in the forest, and nobody is around to hear it…. does it make a sound? If a rapist murders his victim and nobody holds him accountable is it really a crime?
If a full term baby is ripped from the mother’s womb during an abortion is it murder? Define baby…
This is familiar ground for liberals. Who can forget those immortal words of former President and serial rapist Blow Job Bill when asked if it is improper for him to get a head job in the Oval office. His response, “Define is.”
I think the late Patrick O’Brien said it best. One of his characters, Dr. Maturin observed: “Even the stupidest villagers can identify the village idiot.” Somebody needs to point out to the people that elected AOC that they got it wrong. The voting thing was pick somebody to represent them, not to identify the village idiot.
