Did You Order Secret Sauce With That?

Xavier Downs, this is the second time Downs was charged with indecent exposure in connection with food delivery.

I knew there was a good reason I didn’t use home delivery for food orders. This dude has been caught twice. He jumps around from one company to the next. But, but, but he was cleared on a background check. Guess what? He’ll pass the next background check also. Arrests don’t count, it is convictions that matter. He hasn’t been convicted.

Here is another quirk of Texas law. Indecent exposure can be a class “C” misdemeanor, same as a traffic ticket or a class “B” misdemeanor, a jailable offense.

Class “C” indecent exposure falls under Disorderly Conduct. A crook charged with Class “B” indecent exposure just needs to dig his heels in and wait for the District Attorney to offer a plea deal for Disorderly Conduct. Poof, no sex crime, no jail time and no negative report for a background check. Most convictions for class ‘C” misdemeanors are routinely ignored on background checks.
