Who is the bad guy here? A group of bimbos are recruited to go to Dubai and pose nude. Dubai is more relaxed than many Arab countries. This is evidenced by the photo taken at Jumeirah Beach.

However, it is still an Arab country with laws that are more restrictive than in the west. Back to the story, this group decided that they were above the law and posed, nude on the balcony of a high rise. The cops showed up. The result was inevitable.

The country of Dubai has a right to promulgate laws reflective of their society. Citizens and tourists alike have an obligation to follow those laws. They should reasonably expect sanction when those laws are violated.

Police in Dubai warned that anyone publishing pornographic material or any material that “may prejudice public morals” faces imprisonment and a fine. “Such unacceptable behaviours do not reflect the values and ethics of Emirati society,” a police statement said. Any person who lives in or visits the UAE is subject to its laws: there are no exceptions for tourists.

They were arrested and face fines and deportation. They could have been imprisoned for up to six months. Not stated, but I wouldn’t be surprised if caning or flogging wasn’t also an option. They are lucky that they didn’t get an ass whooping prior to being thrown out of the country. Oh well, like we say in Texas, “Don’t let the door hit you on the ass, on your way out.”
