There is a disparity between young black males and the police. In shootouts, the young black men usually come out second best. The playing field is not level despite the efforts of liberals to equalize the game, all to no avail.  Young black men to hold an advantage in back shooting and other acts of cowardice. However, in toe to toe confrontations, not so much.

Let’s list the things the cops have done to make the young black male more competitive in the field of homicide, specifically murdering police.

• Police Departments have developed policy manuals consisting of 100’s of pages of rules and regulations that are often are contradictory and of no value in the decision-making process. The cops still prevail.
• Police have adopted review boards made up of partisan politicians who have no insight into law enforcement to placate a crowd that will never like or support the law enforcement.
• Gun buyback programs, so that the young black male can trade in his barely functional Saturday night special for a top of the line weapon whether handgun, shotgun, or rifle.
• Police officers have a variety of techniques, tactics, and equipment available, which when introduced by the administration are the solution to the latest problem.  But in reality don’t deliver; e.g. nightsticks, batons, Asp, side handle batons, tear gas, pepper spray, control holds, taser, capture nets, handcuffs, leg irons, belly chains, bean bag rounds, handguns, shotguns, rifles, machine guns, robots, and strobe lights. Even golf doesn’t require that many clubs. Each designed to do something a little bit different and representing different incremental levels of force to a continuum that ca be climbing like a Saturn Five Rocket.

The young black male only has one thing to remember: Do not commit a crime.

It would seem that during any confrontation between the police and the young black man, it should be a shoo-in for the young black male. What do I have to do? That’s right don’t commit a crime. Meanwhile, the cops are sorting through the policy manual and box of equipment to find out what is an appropriate response to the situation at hand. This built-in lag time should give the young black male a time for cool reflection, but it hasn’t happened. Perhaps a list for young black men may be helpful:

• Your name and picture on a poster are more likely to appear at the Post Office than the local sports or entertainment venue if you don’t get that High School diploma.
• Sergeant, of course, I love the: Marine Corps, Army, Air Force, Navy, and Coast Guard.
• I thought we would wait until we were married or hang on a second while I wrap that rascal.
• Why wouldn’t I be thinking of college?
• There’s (fill in the blank) of them, and one of me and I’ve never actually shot at anybody capable of shooting back…
• Think of what your MaMa would say, “You were my one chance at the ghetto lottery and when you fired at the police you turned my payoff into a scratch off ticket. Ungrateful kid, after all, I did for you!”

Unlike Black Lives Matter (BLM) I try to offer practical advice that can be of genuine use to thugs and would be thugs. If I missed anything feel free to point it out, it’s for the children.
