A New Solution to the Wetback Problem
Leaving border enforcement in the hands of the government has proven to be ineffective. It is time to try a new methodology, one with a proven track record. At the same time such a methodology must incorporate elements acceptable to the left and right.
Think about it, for a moment. Want to hunt ducks, pheasant, or quail? Go for it, after you have obtained a hunting license, migratory bird stamp, and put a plug in your shotgun. Plug? Only three rounds allowed and the rounds have to contain steel shot. Ammunition restrictions and limited magazine size and nobody bitches!
For bigger game, the hunter must possess and the appropriate tag and affix it to his kill.
Requiring tags or stamps to hunt wetbacks should satisfy liberals. The tag requirement screams “wetbacks are special!” Not just anybody can hunt them.
There is more to hunting than just tramping around in Abercrombie & Fitch camo, gun in hand.
Modern day hunting is about the sport, not subsistence. The capture is the thing, no messy field dressing or recipes that don’t quite work.
