Book Review Madness

I am a voracious reader. Most of my reading is done on Kindle. I pay lip service to Amazon’s ratings by choosing a numerical value (1 to 5 stars) but rarely comment. When I do comment, it is usually a negative comment. This happens rarely, twice to be exact. The second happened yesterday. In the process of making my comments, I discovered that my previous negative review had attracted ten “likes” and one death threat. This proves that anybody can be brave given the anonymity of the Internet. I include it below.

What’s wrong with inclusion, btw? The world isn’t full of mostly white people. And all people have the right to be represented and thrive on this planet. If your kind don’t like it, you should leave the planet so the rest of us can breath and live in peace.

To make sense of the disjointed rambling of the sender, I suppose some context is in order. The book that attracted my ire is by Daniel Silva. He has written twenty plus books in a series. The hero is one Gabriel Allon. Allon started out life as an assassin for the Mossad and got his start killing Palestinian terrorists in the wake of the Munich Massacre. Over the course of these books Allon has littered the landscape with dead Muslims and thus protected the virtue of goats and sheep around the world.

A funny thing happened on the way to Silva’s latest book. It is no longer fashionable to kill Muslim terrorists. It is not fashionable to be an Israeli. What is an Israeli assassin to do? This was the point I made in my comments.

Disappointing. Gabriel Allon is attacked by a DEI mob. In an effort to placate the mob he fires his cadre of long time Israeli associates and tries to pass as a Gentile. Not worth the effort, compared to earlier books.

Me

I could be wrong, but I predict that Gabriel Allon’s next caper will involve a raid on a sex change clinic. No, he isn’t going trans. However, with all those severed penises around he may be able to find a foreskin that fits and with a transplant complete his transition to Gentile.

One final dig at my Moon-bat commenter. How can one be for inclusivity while at the same time calling for the exclusion of somebody you disagree with? Since I have no pretentions towards inclusiveness, I am able to reply to the poster.

Eat shit and go bark at the moon! Not particularly original but my reply meets the critique with the degree of effort it deserves.
