Let’s pull the focus back. Experience has shown me that damn near everyone of these tubers is floating down the river with a beer in hand. Not all the empties make it in the trash. New Braunfels has a city ordinance banning glass containers. They enforce it. Take a glass container to the river get a ticket.
The story and the accompanying video relates an incident on the river. Cops found a glass container. They issued tickets to the offenders, confiscated the glass container and poured the contents out.
The former owners decried the alcohol abuse. One stuck a plastic cup under the stream from the container while another stuck his face in. The cop kept pouring. Critics decry pouring the contents into the river. Others criticize the cop for acting as bartender.
Bullshit. The reality the complaining assholes would be unhappy with any course of action taken by the police.
Take a look at the second picture again. Most all of those folks are drinking. What happens after about the third beer?
Yup, there I was floating down a river of piss when the cops polluted it with by pouring a beer out.
