San Antonio Observer a weekly rag promised to publish the names and addresses of all San Antonio Police Officers, that lasted about a day. The family has already retained an aggressive personal injury litigation firm. When that happens the narrative isn’t set by a weekly newspaper, whose editor aspires to “Kanesian” heights. Thus showing that San Antonio ain’t big enough to support two media whores.
I don’t have enough information to have an opinion on the events. The dearly departed apparently had federal warrants out on him for drugs and weapons. He was not working, but had just purchased a late model Mercedes.
My guess is that he was originally arrested on state charges and given the opportunity to post bail. I suspect he was strongly recruited to snitch and probably did in the beginning. However, he didn’t fulfill his commitment. Undercover officers located him but did not approach without a uniform presence. This says to me they didn’t have a working relationship any longer. Uniformed officers are included in arrest operations so that there is no question that this is a police operation.
